When are your services?
Bible Study classes for all ages from nursery through senior adults begin at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday followed by an 11:00 a.m. worship hour.  Sunday Night At Crossroads (SNAC) activities begin at 5:00 p.m. with AWANA clubs in the educational wings running concurrently with an adult Bible study in the sanctuary.  We also meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. for another adult Bible Study in the sanctuary and children's music educational programs in the educational wings. 

How do I get there?
Crossroads Baptist Church is conveniently located one block east of the intersection of East Central Avenue and North Greenwich Road in southeast Wichita.   Click here for a map

Where do I park?
We try to reserve parking for our elderly and handicapped in the two parking areas in front of the main building.  There is plenty of parking around the rest of the building.  On special occasions some of us even park in the parking lots across the street.

What do I wear?
We are not about clothes at Crossroads.  You will find people dressed in all kinds of attire ranging from suits and ties to casual business, to just plain casual.  We believe that modesty and respect for the Lord before whom we meet to worship is what is important, not the style of our clothes.  Just dress comfortably but modestly and don’t worry about what you wear.  God is more interested in what is in your heart than fashionable attire so just come prepared to have a wonderful time of worship and fellowship.

What do I bring?
A Bible will help you to follow along in worship and in Bible Study. If you have a Bible, bring it with you to church.  All sermons at Crossroads are Biblically based so we spend a lot of time examining Scripture.  While Pastor uses either the NKJV or KJV in the pulpit, feel free to bring your favorite Bible and to follow along in.  We encourage people to not only mark their Bibles as they read along, but to take notes during the service as well.

What can I expect on my first visit?
You’ll feel at home at Crossroads from the start. Our greeters are eager to answer your questions or give directions. Our ushers will help you find a seat in the sanctuary. You’ll never be caught off guard in our services.  You will receive a bulletin at the door outlining everything that will take place during the service - no surprises!  Church members and guests alike are encouraged to fill out a Connection Card for attendance purposes, but no one is pressured to do anything they don't want to do.  We do not even expect our guests to put anything in the offering plate except the Connection Card that serves as a record of their presence.  We believe that in this kind of atomosphere you will be able to relax and connect with God through worshipful music, prayer, and the preaching of  God’s word.

Where do my kids go?
Crossroads has excellent preschool and kids ministries. We offer preschool childcare from bed babies through 5 years during each service time.  Kids (grades 1-6) get to enjoy a children's church designed just for them during the 11:00 a.m. worship service.  Of course there are Sunday school classes for all ages at 10:00 a.m.

What about child security?
We take child security seriously at Crossroads. All children's workers are screened and consented to a background check.  Our nurseries are safe haven environments.  We ask that all childen be signed in and out of the nursery areas.  Parents of nursery-aged children are provided with a silent pager for easy and convenient notification in case their child needs them for any reason.  

Is there a class for visitors that teaches more about Crossroads?
Yes, all visitors are invited to attend a special class designed for those interested in finding out more about Crossroads.  Pastor is presently developing the class and teaching the material on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.  Future offerings will be made during the 10:00 a.m. Sunday time slot for those interested in knowing more about our church, its beliefs, and its vision.   If you are interested in being part of a future class, go to the Contact Us page and fill out the for indicating in the comments field that you are interested in a Crossroads's Discovery class and the information will be forwarded on to the proper indivdiuals who will get back with you.
